Meet Andrea M. Hargett, the encourager. She has found joy in helping people achieve their goals whether as a wife, mom, grandmother, teacher, librarian, pastor or mentor. Seeing and nurturing the innate gifts and potential inside students of all ages, within church and community is her life’s calling.
Andrea celebrates her African heritage while embracing the multicultural influences that have contributed to her understanding of self, sisterhood, and humanity. Her practice with individuals and families seeks to demonstrate the power of presence, unconditional love and self-awareness in building better relationships in the home, community and workplace.
Andrea believes there is power in each person’s sacred story and in the collective narratives of all families and cultural groups. Her approach to healing woundedness honors their lived experience while encouraging steps that lead to their preferred narrative. She rejoices when they can proclaim, This is my story!
